Wastewater Treatment Facility Operation, Maintenance, and Management
A Comprehensive Service Tailored to Your Needs

There’s No Substitute for First Response

Proper maintenance of wastewater treatment facilities is a complex thing. Maximizing your asset’s lifetime value requires technicians with deep skills in a variety of technologies – in order to ensure optimal performance, minimize the risk of system shutdown, and maintain strict health and safety standards.

UPFLOW delivers unmatched insights and services, building on eight years of wastewater treatment know-how. Our team is supremely reliable, focusing on building strong long-term partnerships with our clients. We find creative solutions to maximize your asset’s value and to meet the unique commercial and operational requirements of each wastewater treatment project.

In order to deliver optimal response to our clients’ needs, we’ve packaged our experience into three different service level offerings:

Level 1: Process Management Package

With this service, Upflow produces a detailed report for optimizing the performance of the client’s system. This includes sampling, process monitoring and analysis, a summary, and recommendations for improvement.

Additionally, we provide training for the client’s own maintenance technician, enabling them to operate the system and perform preventive maintenance and fault maintenance. We supervise facility operation in the field, and provide remote maintenance and operation support.

Ideal for:

  • Clients with low to zero commercial performance requirements and a low risk level for low performance.

  • Technicians with experience in maintaining pipe systems, pumps, electrical and control systems, wastewater reactors, and electromechanical equipment.

Level 2: Co-Service Package

Upflow’s co-service package adds 24/7 monitoring as well as fault maintenance, spare parts, and preventive maintenance training for the client’s technicians. Organizations opting for this package are comfortable taking on part of the risk and responsibility for their system, but rely on Upflow’s expertise to perform more complex maintenance tasks.

This package includes a periodic visit, a predefined work protocol, process adequacy and system component testing, flow systems operation, biological and sedimentation systems testing including sludge levels in the reactors, and treatment facility parameter calibration. Additionally, availability for service calls for emergency maintenance, fault diagnosis, repairs, and parts.

Ideal for:

  • Lean companies with fully-utilized maintenance teams and/or less experience in the primary components of wastewater treatment systems.

Level 3: Full Service Package

Upflow’s full service package includes all of the services listed in levels 1 and 2, in addition to full preventive maintenance and fault maintenance, 24/7 monitoring, and a performance warranty. This package allows clients to minimize risk and rely on Upflow’s expertise in maintaining their assets.

The service includes a process warranty for the facility’s performance, and high availability by professionals in the fields of electricity, control, electromechanical equipment, piping, pumps, separation systems, and reactors. The client can rely on Upflow to manage the facility, including all decision-making, maintenance, and process management, while meeting the predefined goals.

With Upflow’s full service package, the client can rest assured that the system is operated optimally, with full support and readiness for service calls at all times. Upflow works professionally and methodically, maintains high quality and safety standards, and is committed to improving facility performance and meeting client goals. Our team provides close guidance and oversight, a clearly defined work schedule, and system health checks.

Ideal for:

  • Lean companies with small maintenance teams and/or less experience in the primary components of wastewater treatment systems.

  • Clients operating in high-risk commercial environments with stringent performance requirements, who prefer to optimize system performance over time.
